The SOB decides the maximum diameter of the bit of wood that could fit in the wood turning lathe. The SOB of a small wood lathe is usually as little as six inches, whereas the SOB of an entire-dimension wood lathe is often as superior as 15 inches, allowing you to deal with much larger assignments.
